T.A.G.S
THE ARTICULATE GALLERY SERIES
SINGAPORE - ESTABLISHED 2003

About
TAGS is a group of Christians from different art practices in dialogue and collaboration. We facilitate these contact zones through events, talks and projects proposed by members. We hope these activities challenge the participants in a performative and/or pedagogical experience relevant to their faith and craft.

Events
We organise events for selected artists who wish to collaborate with one another. This could take place in diverse forms ranging from performances, exhibitions to various productions. Past events include 2006's Alabaster Jar.

Talks
We host monthly talks that feature practitioners and academics within the theology and/or the arts. Each talk focuses on practice and research specific to the speaker. There will be group discussions afterwards for participants to share their experiences and feedback.

Projects
We encourage members who require assistance or mentoring with their projects to ask for help within the group. Each project has the potential to network relevant members of the community, and create mentoring and learning opportunities. Members should submit a brief synopsis of their projects, help required and their contacts. The edited information would be made available at each talk session. Email requests to tagseries@yahoo.com.

This shared pleasure of gazing at the bright lights unknowingly forges a special friendship between the both of them in one of the unlikeliest places. Written by Yang Ming and directed by Gemia Foo.
